We begin April in lockdown. A new way of life that we are all coming to terms with. The rules are loud and clear...STAY HOME and only leave home for essential shopping, medication and exercise once a day and near to home, no travelling to other destinations.
It seems alien not being able to go out, or see friends and heartbreaking not being able to see family, but, it has to be done to save lives and hopefully reduce the transmission of this dreadful virus which has no boundaries.
I am lucky to be able to walk from my home to wide open spaces safely. We have the shoreline, woodland, rivers and a good cycle track.
We are unable to travel so my photography is concentrated on my local walks and cycles.
Being spring, and, also being blessed with some fantastic spring sunshine it has been great watching the tree's and wild flowers unfold in our local surroundings.
I have been busy going through my archives of photographs from the past. A good chance to do some much needed photography housekeeping !
I was thinking I may perhaps make a lockdown photography folder in my gallery. Perhaps one day in the future I can look back and remember what it was like although I think that will be a long way off. We have a struggle ahead.
Stay safe and well everyone.
