September has arrived and the weather still continues to be sunny and warm. I would consider it to have been a good summer this year which has helped us immensely to get through these very different and difficult times.
As travel is still allowed I have been making the most of the fine weather, seeking out some new locations and visiting old haunts which almost seemed like new after being restricted for so long.
Autumn is just round the corner. It has arrived in tiny bits and pieces here and there. It only seems like a flash that I was watching spring burst forth.
The heather is vibrant and blooming and the forests are looking amazing, hence I have been seeking out beautiful forests as each one is different.
It’s a joy to watch nature take it’s course and the changes it goes through.
We were lucky enough to be able to travel to our annual holiday lodge in Kinloch Rannoch at the end of the month. We were unable to take friends as we usually do as restrictions didn’t allow people from multiple homes to meet. Hubby and I went ourselves and had a wonderful week of weather exploring the desolate and wild Rannoch Moor and it’s surroundings. It’s a remote place but incredibly beautiful and unspoiled.....fantastic for photography.
I am looking forward to Autumn in full bloom next month when the landscape changes from predominantly green to a palette of colour.
Stay safe everyone and again thank you for your continued support.
