A Touch of Yellow Evanton
Cold & Gloomy May (click on thumbnail to see larger image)

The month of May has felt more like November ! Cold, wet and gloomy. Not much in the way of sunshine so winter woollies still in use !
The weather has made my photography this month a little hard to motivate myself when day after day the cold and gloom persists. However I battle on walking in the forest and Loch Glass locally and capture some pleasing images. The yellow rapeseed fields add a touch of sunshine , they are in full bloom. The tree's are almost full bloom but a bit later than normal I feel.
For many years I have donated images to the Highland hospice for their Christmas Cards. I was privileged to be asked again this year, so 2 of my wintery scenes will be on Hospice Christmas Cards.
Lets hope June brings sunshine and warmth ! I have plans of places to go and places to photograph !
