Hello everyone ! We are now into November. The weather is extremely mild and the autumnal colours are glowing. Autumn was late to get going this year but it certainly produced some fabulous colour well into the month. Had a couple to trips to Glen Torridon hoping for some nice light which sadly didn't really happen, however the colours made up for the lack of a bit of sunshine! I spent a lot of time in the woodlands this month, making the most of Autumns beauty, it is a very nice time of year for photography. I find forests fascinating, all the shapes of the tree's and the textures of the bark and leaves. I lose all track of time! I leave home and walk to my local woodland...2 mins away...thinking I'll go for a couple of hours! 5 hours can pass quite easily.
I have been busy preparing all my Christmas Cards, I make my own designs and have them printed. I will perhaps have a section for cards on the website next year. I also make calendars for family and friends.
Christmas is just a few weeks away! but I am organised....1st time ever I think! so it leaves me plenty time for photographing the snow and frost when it comes! My longing for misty foggy mornings hasn't happened this year either so far, perhaps when the temps fall a bit we might get some atmospheric mornings.
By the end of the month the weather is stormy, dull and gloomy. Not much light about and dark so early so really on a good day I need to be out early to make the most of daylight hours,

Canvases have been doing great!! Thank you everyone who has ordered.
Remember LAST ORDER DATE FOR CHRISTMAS IS FRIDAY 17TH DECEMBER.

"Autumn Glory, Torridon"

Until next month, stay safe and well
